Wiesbauer used its new Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 to install a large gas flue at a large power station in Mannheim, Germany.

The 9-axle all terrain was chosen for its capacity at long radius and because of the building height. Main contractor for the project was Hellmich-Kranservice.

Configured with a 19 metre telescopic boom extension and a 91 m luffing jib, the all terrain was used to lift sections of the 50 m stainless steel flue in through an opening in the roof. The longest pipe was 14 m and weighed 6 tonnes. The flue was then assembled inside the building.
