Crane rental company Würzburger Kranverleih und Bergedienst has added a truck mounted Liebherr LTF 1045-4.1 crane to its fleet.

The LTF 1045-4.1 has been fitted on a Volvo chassis. It has a 35 metre telescopic boom and 6.7 tonnes of ballast. With full ballast the crane has load capacity values in the 90 tonne class, the manufacturer said. The model is the third truck-mounted telescopic crane in the Würzburger Kranverleih und Bergedienst fleet.

Ibrahim Kücükdag, Würzburger Kranverleih und Bergedienst owner, said, “Our LTF cranes cover around 15,000 kilometres every year. They are much more economical than conventional mobile cranes over long distances."

“With part ballast the LTF cranes can be licensed exactly like a normal truck. That is a major advantage for our flexibility", Kücükdag added.

The LTF crane will be used for erecting steelwork on construction buildings, loading machines at industrial companies and erecting prefabricated buildings and cellars, a company spokesperson said. The model joins 30 other mobile cranes in Würzburger Kranverleih fleet.
