West of Scotland Heavy Haulage adds Arocs and Manoovr

UK transport specialists West of Scotland Heavy Haulage has taken delivery of two Mercedes-Benz Arocs tractor units from West Commercial Bellshill and Nooteboom Trailers’ latest low loader, the Manoovr.

The Manoovr (MPL-114-07) is the first of its kind in Scotland and has a 100 tonne capacity. It features an adjustable platform height from 780 to 920 mm, as well as unique suspension and a 70 degree steering angle. The pendulum axles allow a load of 12 tonnes per axle and a bed that can be extended from 12 to 30.35 metres.

Also joining the West of Scotland Heavy Haulage fleet is a 155 tonne 8x4 Mercedes-Benz Arocs replacing driver Neil McNeil’s Volvo FH16 8x4, and an 80 tonne 6x4 to replace driver Adam Beverage’s MAN TGX 6x4.
