USA-based Vita Industrial will be offering live demonstrations of its will be Vita Load Navigator (VLN) software at ConExpo 2023 (booth F8552).

The system includes aviation sensors which the company said will automatically stabilize loads and prevent them from spinning as it can detect loads and wind speeds.

Also, high-powered air thrusters adjust loads within milliseconds with up to 1° accuracy. The unit can be controlled via a remote for precision lifting.

At ConExpo, Vita said the demonstrations will show how the VLN can increase safety, efficiency, precision, and therefore, profitability when managing loads compared to the use of taglines.

Rockford, Illinois-based The Caldwell Group Inc. manufactures the spreader beam component of Vita Inclinata Technologies Inc.’s load navigator system.

“Vita Industrial is thrilled to be a part of the largest construction tradeshow in North America for the first time,” said Caleb Carr, chairman and CEO of Vita Inclinata.

“Construction companies and equipment suppliers in the US and around the world are quickly learning how load stabilization can dramatically improve their lifting operations.

“The VLN can speed up construction schedules and improve jobsite safety. We can’t wait to show off the technology live in Las Vegas.”

New partnership

At ConExpo, Vita Industrial is also highlighting its work with DPR Construction, a US-based general contractor.

In recent months, DPR and Vita have partnered in a pilot program of Vita’s hardware and software solutions at a Southern California DPR project site.

“Many of the tools of the construction industry trade haven’t evolved in decades. DPR looks for opportunities to adapt and use those tools in different ways to foster innovation.

“We like to work with companies that can think bigger — companies like Vita Industrial — and bring innovation that improves safety and efficiency in construction sites everywhere,” said Henning Roedel, robotics lead at DPR Construction.

“DPR is excited at the potential of adding Vita’s lifting system to our list of solutions,” Roedel said. “Together we are taking an analog solution — the tagline — and making it a real-time, intelligent data system that significantly improves efficiency and profitability for crane companies.”
