Transport company Van der Vlist transported a drum milling machine from Pennsylvania, USA, to Utrecht, the Netherlands.

The machine, a Wirtgen W2200, is used for asphalt. It weighs 55 tonnes and is 4.5 metres wide, 16.9 m long and 3.15 m high.

For the project the machine was transported from Folcroft in south eastern Pennsylvania to Baltimore, Maryland. From Baltimore the cargo was shipped to Amsterdam where it was then loaded onto a 5-axle semi-low loader. From there Van der Vlist transported the Wirtgen W2200 to the Utrecht area of the Netherlands to start work, a company spokesperson said.
