Czech Unic crane distributor KMB Stavebni Servis has taken delivery of three mini spider cranes.

The deal was for one unit each of the URW-095 and URW-295-3 pedestrian operated models, and the ride-on URW-376. The 2.9 tonne capacity URW-295-3 has variable, adjustable outriggers for added flexibility in set up. They allow a smaller footprint for what is already a compact mini machine, Unic said, further helping it to work in small and awkward areas.

KMB already has more than 35 Unic cranes in its rental fleet. Jaroslav Voneš, head of KMB’s Vsechromy depot, commented, “There is no doubt that the Unic-095 is one of the most popular mini cranes in our fleet, therefore we welcome another in a row. We are excited about Unic-295-3 with variable, adjustable outriggers and are also looking forward to using the new and modernised RaycoWylie i4500 system, the new type we didn´t have before.”

Graeme Riley, Unic Cranes Europe, CEO, said, “The team from KMB were one of the first of our dealers to visit our European Headquarters in Haddenham [UK] since lockdown. After building their business around the Unic product, it’s great to be able to support KMB Stavebni Servis’s growth plans and service the demand from the Czech market with the delivery of these units.”
