Teamwork with Steder and the WWPC

Steder Group in the Netherlands recently took advantage of its membership of the Worldwide Project Consortium WWPC. It was awarded a contract for the logistics to replace a cracking furnace in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The cracking furnace was an urgent replacement for the original which got damaged. Urgent shipment to the jobsite was needed in a project where Steder Group's scope was to deliver all materials to the jobsite in Yanbu.

To get all the parts to the job site in time, Steder Group's team worked with other WWPC members: Hansaeng in South Korea, Fioravanti in Italy, Sahil Freight in India, Albacor Shipping in the USA and Allfort in Japan. In Saudi Arabia Almajdouie arranged all transportation from arrival by sea and airport in Jeddah to Yanbu.

In week 43 at the end of October, the largest pieces were delivered from a ship arranged by Steder that loaded in Hamburg and Venice for delivery to Jeddah. The pieces were huge modules weighing between 95 and 120 tonnes each.
