German crane service provider Krandienst Schuch, used a Tadano ATF 400G-6 to help rebuild the Schiersteiner bridge in Germany.

The bridge links the regional capitals of Wiesbaden and Mainz and is 1.3 km long. The 400 tonne capacity ATF 400G-6 wheeled mobile telescopic crane was used to lift three steel girders from a transporter onto the bridge. The girders weighed 107, 44 and 40 tonnes. The ATF 400G-6 lifted the girders in tandem with a 500 tonne capacity Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 mobile telescopic crane. The ATF 400G-6 was configured with 138 tonnes of counterweight.

The project began in 2013 and is expected to last six years.
