German crane rental company Schmidbauer has added four new Tadano all terrain cranes to its fleet.

The order includes an ATF 90G-4, an ATF 70G-4 and two ATF 220G-5s. The 4-axle ATF 90G-4 has a 90 tonne capacity and a 51.2 metre main boom. The 70 tonne capacity 4-axle ATF 60-4 has a 44 m main boom and is powered by two engines. The 5-axle ATF 220G-5 has a 68 m main boom and a working radius of 84 m.

Werner Schmidbauer, Schmidbauer Group CEO, said, “The flexible use of the ATF 220G-5 has impressed us for years.”

Hermann Setzmüller, Schmidbauer head of purchasing, addded, “It is also very important to us to comply with the stipulated 12 tonne axle load, which the crane meets perfectly.”

The first job for one of the 200 tonne capacity ATF 220G-5s will be in Augsburg, Germany.
