Andrew will lead Sany’s division in the UK and Ireland, overseeing all aspects of operations, sales, and customer support.

With over 20 years of experience in the construction equipment industry with companies such as Terex, Demag and Tadano, Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role.

“Sany is committed to delivering high-quality cranes and customer service to our clients in the UK,” said Andrew. “I am delighted to join the Sany team at the start of its journey as we expand our product range and work towards strengthening our presence in the European market.”

In the UK, Sany’s product range include telescopic crawler cranes from 60 to 80 tonne capacities, with two new larger models due in 2024. Sany also has a range of lattice boom crawler cranes with capacities from 60 to 480 tonnes.

It has electric options for both its telescopic and lattice crawlers.

New cranes

Sany is due to launch its 60 tonne capacity SAC600E all terrain crane to the UK market in September. It boasts a 50 metre main boom with the option of a 16 metre double folding jib. It will be exhibited at several events in the UK this year.

“We have already seen success and product acceptance in other European countries and now Sany aims to establish itself as a leading provider of cranes in the UK aswell,” said Andrew. “The SAC600E is just the first of a range of all terrain products which will be offered to European markets with 120 tonne 4 Axle and 250 tonne 5 Axle models due soon.”
