Palfinger is continuing to expand its North American fooprint with the grand opening of its new, state-of-the-art headquarters with an integrated demonstration and training center located in Schaumburg, IL.

“We are here to stay and grow,” said Andreas Klauser, CEO, Palfinger. “Led by our strong focus on our customers, we will use the next five years to significantly increase our North American market share in all product segments and show what we are capable of.”

Schaumburg, the state’s second largest economic location outside Chicago, has a strong industrial drive in the technology sector with international accessibility and is the ideal location for Palfinger, the company said.

The training center has a modern demonstration area for product operation, service training and virtual reality training equipment.

At the heart of the new headquarters is its advanced training center, which offers a sales and service training utilizing two state-of-the-art classrooms with space for up to 90 people. In addition, the training center has a modern demonstration area for product operation and service training. Virtual reality training is revolutionizing the way operators learn how to use lifting solutions. This immersive technology allows people without previous experience to safely and efficiently operate a wide variety of equipment.

“Our new headquarters reflects our commitment to Palfinger’s second-largest market,” said Ismael Daneluz, vice president of sales & service, North America and Latin America. “The goal is to serve our customers even better than before, strengthen our market presence and further expand our activities in North America.”

ACT sat down with Palfinger executives at the grand opening, and was given an exclusive tour of the new facility. Stay tuned for the July issue for all of the details!
