The Association for the Work Truck Industry (NTEA) has appointed Mark Woody as its new president. The announcement was made during the Work Truck Show 2014 in North America.

Woody is president and area manager at Palfinger, covering loading and handling vehicles for the North American market, including knuckle boom cranes, recycling cranes, truck bodies, lift gates and truck-mounted forklifts.

Speaking on his new position, Woody said, “I look forward to filling this role and am driven to work hard to lead the NTEA during its 50th year of serving the work truck industry.”

Woody takes over from previous president Shawn Jacobs, who is STS Trailer & Truck Equipment president and CEO.
