Keda’s new Kato CR-130Rf city crane

In the Channel Islands, Jersey-based construction company Keda Structures has bought a new Kato city crane. The CR-130Rf has a maximum lifting capacity of 13 tonnes at 1.7 metres and will be the company’s second Kato city crane.

Its six-section boom extends to 24 metres and the crane weighs just under 14 tonnes.

Managing director of Keda, Keith Wright, commented, “We are delighted to purchase this Kato City Crane from Rivertek. The long boom, 5.5-metre hydraulic fly jib, and short tail swing radius of the crane are important features for us. The reliability of the Kato cranes, combined with other advantages like low axle weights, is an important factor for us.”
