Manitowoc customer Reijo Heinonen of Nostokonepalvelu Oy celebrates the delivery of two new Grove cranes with Simo Kotiluoto, service engineer of local dealer, Machinery Oy

Machinery Oy, the newly appointed Grove distributor for Finland, has sold two Grove all terrain cranes to Turku-based rental company, Nostokonepalvelu Oy.

The models are a GMK3060 and a GMK4100L. The GMK3060 was delivered to Nostokonepalvelu Oy in July and the GMK4100L will be delivered later in September.

The GMK3060 was displayed by Machinery Oy at the MAXPO Trade Exhibition which took place from 10 to 12 September 2015 in Hyvinkää, Finland.

Vesa Hakkarainen, Machinery Oy business area director cranes, said, “MAXPO is the most important exhibition for the construction industry here in Finland and we are delighted to have had the opportunity to showcase our latest Grove model – the GMK3060. The mobile crane is easy to transport by road for use in remote locations, which is very helpful in a predominantly rural country such as Finland. As our first customer to buy the model, we will keep in close contact with Nostokonepalvelu Oy to ensure that the GMK3060 not only meets – but surpasses their expectations.”

The three-axle all terrain is fitted with the new Crane Control System (CCS) and has boom optimisation, which automatically selects optimal boom options for performing a lift. The four-axle 100 tonne capacity GMK4100L has a 60 m boom.
