New All branch in Indianapolis

The newest branch of USA-based crane rental and sales company All opened in Indianapolis on 1 February this year. It became the 38th member of the All family - operating under the All, Central, Dawes, and Jeffers names - in North America and the fourth branch of the All Central Rent-A-Crane division in Indiana, with the other branches located in Elkhart, Fort Wayne, and Hammond.

The new Indianapolis branch will expand the Central Rent-A-Crane service area, offering more available equipment for the increased rental demand in central and southern Indiana, the company said. The new location is also said to allow quicker delivery and quicker response times for job-site crane service to help customers avoid downtime.

Kevin Hileman, the newly appointed Indianapolis branch manager, said, “We have been very busy in this part of Indiana so this new full-service yard puts us where our customers need us most.” The new Indianapolis branch is already home to cranes from 40 to 550 US ton capacities, but, explains Hileman, it’s not just the cranes on site; rather, it is more about increasing regional strength. “Our branches form a supply chain - our sister Central yards to the north and the ALL Jeffers branches in western Ohio. These ALL yards share equipment based on demand.”

“With the new Indianapolis location, we’re connecting the dots on our branches,” said Ed Kocsis, general manager at Central Rent-A-Crane. “We’ll be able to better respond to the uptick in work requests we’ve received around southern Indiana for the last few years.”

Expansion in Alabama

The Mobile, Alabama division of All Crane Rental has moved to a new, larger location 16 miles from its previous yard.

Extensive work was done on the site, a former warehouse, to make it suitable for All. This included the gutting and rebuilding of the inside of the warehouse and the modernizing of the five large drive-through bays where equipment will be serviced. “With the size and capabilities offered in our new, high-profile location, it is exciting both for those of us at the company and for the whole area,” said Brian Ledford, general manager at All Crane of Alabama. “We can now keep a larger inventory of equipment and parts, too.”
