Multiple City cranes for Schmidbauer
By Alex Dahm15 May 2023
German rental company Schmidbauer has added again to its fleet of Tadano City class wheeled mobile cranes.
Another two AC 3.045-1 City cranes have joined the fleet. That leaves just one more to go from a six-unit order placed in 2022. The first three were delivered in November. One of the latest deliveries is for Fricke-Schmidbauer in Brunswick while the other goes to the Ingolstadt depot.
Fricke-Schmidbauer already had one unit. Dr. Mitja Schimek, managing director, said it was pleased with it, “The extremely compact AC 3.045-1 City is simply our crane of choice when it comes to projects in urban areas and tight work sites.”
Schimek‘s colleague Christian Schlagbauer, branch manager at the Ingolstadt branch, heaped on more praise, “On top of that, the crane has extraordinary lifting capacities – generally and, especially, when telescoping under load. This makes it simply unbeatable from our perspective when it comes to indoor projects.“
All six new AC 3.045-1 City units were ordered with an e-Pack preparation package for zero-emission crane operation. It expands the range of possible applications and is vital for Schmidbauer’s push for a green future.
