Liebherr Ship to Shore Cranes working at Exolgan Container Terminal, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Liebherr Container Cranes in Ireland has taken orders for four more ship to shore container cranes.

Exolgan Container Terminal in Buenos Aires, Argentina has ordered one unit with an outreach of 51.5 metres and a safe working load of 62.5 tonnes under twinlift spreader. It has a lift height over the rail of 40 m and can handle vessels with up to 20 rows of containers, the company said. The terminal currently has eight Liebherr ship to shore cranes.

HPC Ukrania has also placed an order for three further Liebherr ship to shore cranes. They have an outreach of 54.5 m, a lift height over the rail of 41.5 m and a safe working load of 65 tonnes under twin lift spreader. The cranes will be capable of servicing vessels with up to 20 rows of containers.

Delivery will be to the new deepwater container terminal at Quarintine Mole, Odessa. HPC Ukrania already operates Liebherr ship to shore cranes at the existing Odessa Container Terminal.
