Lifting specialist Koodaideri Contracting Services in Australia has taken delivery of its first Terex MAC 25 pick and carry crane.

Peter Todd, Koodaideri managing director, said, "As we were just becoming established we didn't want to go too big too soon, so we decided on a Terex MAC 25 pick & carry crane because it was the right size for our needs.

“With mobility as the primary requirement, we spent some time investigating the different cranes available in the market. We work on construction sites and in mines with rough tracks and we needed a crane with the manoeuvrability to get to any of the lifting sites.”

“The mining companies are used to seeing these 25 tonne cranes on site, so there is an expectation of us being able to deliver performance with this crane. Being able to get the job done on time and within budget means a lot to this business,” added Todd.

Aside from working in mines, the pick and carry crane will help with lifting 25 to 30 metre lengths of rail at railway works.
