Palazzani Industrie has sold an XTJ 37+ spider to Italian company Michelangelo Srl after the model was displayed at GIS 2019.

Part of the Italian manufacturer’s Plus series of platforms, the tracked model has a telescopic boom and jib and provides a working height that ranges from -5 to 37 metres.

The machine’s outriggers individually rotate and articulate on six different positions, providing automatic set-up and stability for its 14.5 m outreach. With working platforms of 120, 230 and 320 kg safe working load capacities available, the model also features an automatic ‘area manager’ safety system.

According to Palazzani, which launched the XTJ 37+ at Bauma in Germany earlier this year, Michelangelo Srl selected the model for its versatility and easy operation.

The machine is currently being used to carry out maintenance on both historic buildings and telecommunication lines in Tuscany, Italy.
