Singapore-based crane rental-company, Hiap Tong Crane & Transport, used a Grove GMK4100 all terrain crane to help with the construction of a new Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) metro line in Singapore.

The four-axle crane has a 100 tonne capacity, a 52 metre telescopic boom and a data logger. Its carrier length is 10.75 m. It was used on the new Thomson Line T209 at the Lentor Station project site. Tasks included lifting components for the tunnel boring machine.

Hiap Tong Crane & Transport supplied the Grove GMK4100 to China Railway, the main contractor for the project.
