GK Hire has been established for 30 years and has two depots – one in Dublin and the other in Tallaght.

Jerome Cunnane, Managing Director of GK Hire, said, “The Genie GS-1330m meets all the specifications needed in clean room settings.

“In our region, pharmaceutical plants and data centres are the real target area for these units where we see great potential. For us, the e-drive feature is as a huge plus for clean room work where customers do not want to contend with contaminating and soiling surfaces due to hydraulic leaks.”

Described by Genie as an eco-friendly model, the GS-1330m features an e-drive system that allows it to run for a full-day without generating emissions.

Weighing 885kg, the unit is below the 1,000kg capacity limitation of standard service elevators.

Cunnane said, “Feedback from customers has been great concerning the folding platform that makes the unit easy to transport in very tight areas, including lifts.”

It offers a maximum working height of 5.9m and a lift capacity of 227kg to take two people on the platform.

The GS-1330m measures 1.4m long and 0.78m wide, and it is drive-enabled at full height and in stowed position.

The scissor lift can travel on slopes of up to 14˚ and is fitted with solid, non-marking 25cm tyres.
