Get market update during ESTA awards on 22 April

Attendees at the online ESTA Awards of Excellence on 22 April will hear three experts discuss the global outlook for the crane market, the latest heavy lifts at the Hinkley Point C project, and the implications for specialized transport of new VEMAGS permits.

The three speakers will give presentations alongside the awards ceremony and are:

Jens Ennen, president and CEO, Tadano Faun and Demag Mobile Cranes
World crane market and the post-Covid landscape

Moritz Dickmann, director, Nöpel Group
Implications of reforms to VEMAGS transport permits

Garrick Nisbet, projects director, Notus Heavy Lift
Update on heavy lift & transport activities at Hinkley Point C

Ennen is a senior figure in the world’s crane manufacturing sector and brings considerable experience and a global perspective on how markets are recovering and adapting in response to the Covid pandemic.

Garrick Nisbet is currently based at the Hinkley Point C nuclear power project in the UK and will report on crane activities on one of Europe’s largest construction projects, including the use of Saren’s ‘Big Carl’ heavy lift crane.

Covering the transport permit issue is Moritz Dickman, who as a director of German based Nöpel Group has direct experience of specialized transport across European borders.

The two-hour online event will also see the winners of the ESTA awards announced, with representatives of the winners appearing live in the virtual event platform.
