Provider of mechanical engineering services to the international energy industry, EnerMech, has secured a new three-year contract, with two one-year options, for North Sea crane operation and maintenance for oil company Total E&P UK.

According to EnerMech, the previous five-year contract for the provision of operation and maintenance services across ten pedestal cranes has been revised and updated to include scope for 19 gantry cranes. The company reports that the contract covers a range of Total’s UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) assets and is worth a seven-figure sum.

Phil Bentley, EnerMech regional director for Europe, said, “This new contract with Total E&P UK cements a long-standing relationship and is strategically important for the growth of our mechanical handing services business line.”
