At Slingmax in the USA Gregory D’Elia has joined the sling company as engineering manager. D’Elia holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Penn State University and has nine years of cordage industry experience, working with high strength aramid and HMPE (high molecular weight polyethylene) fibres. A recent project was his designs for the high performance fibre guy ropes used to hold the spire in place at the One World Trade Center building in New York.

Scott St. Germain, Slingmax CEO, said, “We were searching for an experienced engineer to enhance our industry leading innovations. Greg will use his proven skills and experience to improve our product designs, develop new product applications and also provide support for our dealers.”
