  • 17 May 2016. Lift & Move USA, Buckner, North Carolina, USA.
  • 2 November 2016. Lift & Move USA, Bragg, California, USA.
  • 3 November 2016. Cranes and Transport Turkey, Istanbul.

  • 10 and 11 May 2017. International Tower Cranes, London, UK.
  • 7 and 8 November 2017. World Crane and Transport Summit, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

In more detail, 3 November is Cranes and Transport Turkey (CATT) in Istanbul. It is organised in co-operation with APA Publishing. Speakers from Bechtel, ALE and Sennebogen are already confirmed.

After that is Cranes and Transport Middle East (CATME) on 7 and 8 December 2016 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It will be KHL’s first crane and transport conference for the Middle East. Speakers already confirmed are from CCC, Mammoet, Sarens, Wolffkran and consultant IHS. The conference is free to attend for industry professionals.

Next year three crane events are scheduled. First is the ESTA Awards of Excellence organised on behalf of the European Association of Abnormal Road Transport and Mobile Cranes. The annual event, a dinner and awards evening, will be on 6 April 2017 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

International Tower Cranes (ITC) will be on 10 and 11 May, in London, UK. The biennial tower crane conference returns to the UK’s capital after the success of the event in 2015.

Then there is the flagship event, the World Crane and Transport Summit (WCTS), on 7 and 8 November 2017 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It is a two-day conference for the crane and specialized transport industry that attracts a worldwide audience.

In addition to the above events, KHL is working with Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association (SC&RA) and National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) on Lift & Move USA, a series of careers events for the US crane, rigging and specialized transport industry. The events, hosted by SC&RA member companies, are targeted at high school and college students and military veterans with the aim of promoting careers in the industry.

The first Lift & Move USA was held in Chicago in 2015 and the second in Houston, Texas, in February 2016. This latter event drew around 750 attendees. The next Lift & Move USA will be hosted by Buckner Companies in Graham, North Carolina, on 17 May, with Bragg Companies scheduled to host an event in Long Beach, California, on 2 November. There are plans for further Lift & Move USA events in 2017, although the dates and locations have still to be confirmed.
