Linden Comansa and German rental company BKL Baukran Logistik have signed an agreement where BKL becomes the distributor in Germany for the Spanish tower crane manufacturer.

The deal was signed on 20 July at the Linden Comansa factory in Huarte, Spain by the managing directors of both companies: Alexander Volz from BKL Baukran Logistik and Alberto Munárriz from Linden Comansa.

"We are very proud and pleased to be linked with BKL, one of Germany's most reputed rental companies," Munárriz said. For Alezander Volz, "Linden Comansa's cranes fulfil all quality and competitivity characteristics that we require. This alliance will not only be good for BKL, but for our customers too"

The agreement came with the first order, for six cranes, plus a stock of spare parts for the acquired models to ensure BKL's service 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Comansa said. The cranes ordered are four 21 LC 290s with a maximum load of 18 tonnes, and two 8 tonne capacity 11 LC 160s, which will all join the BKL rental fleet.

BKL Baukran Logistik is a leading rental company in Germany. It owns one of the biggest fleets in Central Europe. Since 1969 it has worked on many projects around Germany, for example, the construction of the Allianz Arena stadium, where F.C. Bayern Munich plays as the local team, and the "BMW Welt", an architecturally spectacular exhibition and distribution centre for BMW automotive products.
