Appointments at LEEA

22 January 2018

The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA), a representative body for the lifting equipment industry, has appointed a new chairman, CEO and a new board member.

Paul Fulcher, managing director at UK company Rigging Services, has been appointed as the new LEEA chairperson. He takes over from Oliver Auston who was LEEA chairperson for the last two years. Fulcher has been an active member of LEEA’s board for 20 years and was chair from 2001 to 2003.

“I am excited to be back in the role as chairman of the association, especially during this time of change and global reorganisation of LEEA’s member services, which will be the focus for 2018,” Fulcher commented.

LEEA has also appointed Dr. Ross Moloney as CEO. Moloney is also CEO at research, marketing and communications agency FireDog and a former CEO of Skills for Logistics, a not-for-profit organisation supporting the logistics sector. Moloney said, “I am honoured to be leading LEEA into its next phase of growth and excited to be working with the board and the Association’s dedicated staff. I look forward to meeting our valued members over the coming weeks and months.”

“I am particularly pleased to be working alongside a talented, united and strong board of directors, also to be working with Ross in his new role as CEO of LEEA,” added Fulcher. “Ross brings a wealth of experience in skills development, senior leadership and employer representation.”

LEEA is also pleased to announce the appointment of board member Kat Moss, from Catena Inspection and Engineering Services as chairperson of the Association’s Learning and Development Committee. Kat has been a LEEA board member for two years and will add invaluable experience and guidance to the ongoing learning and development strategy delivered to members, LEEA said.
