Amrit Crane expands Grove fleet

03 June 2013

Indian crane rental firm Amrit Crane Service is to add another Grove crane to its fleet, after several fleet additions from the brand in recent years. Amrit has placed an order for a new GMK6300L from Manitowoc’s Indian dealer TIL, due for delivery later this year.

The Gujarat rental company first purchased a 220 tonne capacity GMK6220L from TIL in 2011. Soon after, Amrit ordered an additional two used cranes from TIL — two 50 tonne capacity GMK3050s. Amrit’s fleet has since expanded to include five used Grove cranes.

Narinder Singh founded Amrit Crane Service in 1995. The company has grown from a single 20 tonne capacity crane to a fleet of 45 cranes. The GMK6300L will be the largest in the Gujarat fleet.
