Glasgow, Scotland-based based AB 2000 Plant and Crane Hire has taken delivery of two new Liebherr cranes.

The cranes, including an LTM 1095 and a LTM 1200, are the rental company’s first Liebherr models. The LTM 1095 taxi crane has a 58 metre boom and a lifting capacity of 95 tonnes. In addition, it still meets UK road regulations when travelling with its entire ballast, a company spokesperson said. The LTM 1200 has a 200 tonne lifting capacity, a 72 m boom and a road legal ballast of 16 tonnes.

Adam Bruce, managing director of AB 2000, said,“ I am delighted to take delivery of our new Liebherr cranes, they will make an excellent addition to our fleet and will demonstrate to our customers how we provide total service flexibility and how we are continually investing in the best technology available to meet their needs.”

Brian Lang, sales manager at Liebherr Great Britain, added, “AB 2000 are no strangers to Liebherr as they also run a fleet of road/railers for the rail industry from us. It is a pleasure working with AB 2000 and I am pleased they have decided to invest their future with us. I look forward to a long working partnership with Adam and his team.”

The cranes join eleven cranes in the company’s fleet.
