WDS 2021 – Devin Bennett to speak; round table added to conference programme

Demolition & Recycling International (D&Ri) is delighted to announce Dr Devin Bennett as the latest World Demolition Summit (WDS) conference speaker.

Devin is a partner with LPS (Loss Prevention Systems) Inc and has worked as a safety and loss prevention consultant for the past 22 years.

His presentation at Chicago will be “The keys to transforming organisational performance in demolition”, with a particular emphasis on safety.

LPS is a comprehensive management system that has been implemented in more than 100 countries and in industries including demolition, petroleum, chemical, mining, manufacturing, utility, biofuels, industrial and environmental services, and transportation and logistics industries.

Devin and LPS have assisted Fortune 500 companies and privately-owned businesses in safety and loss prevention implementation and sustainability activities.

As well as his conference presentation, Devin will also join two other speakers from the WDS in a round table during the afternoon of Thursday 21 October.

Along with Tim Barker, principal of Resolute Decommissioning and Demolition Services, and Jet Demolition’s managing director Joe Brinkmann, he will take part in a three-way discussion on topical aspects of demolition.

The WDS, taking place at the Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel, starts on the evening of Wednesday 20 October and continues throughout the next day.

Organised by D&Ri in co-operation with the European Demolition Association and the US National Demolition Association, it combines a one-day conference, awards dinner and networking opportunities and typically attracts over 400 industry professionals.
