MyCrane launches digital crane rental plans

A new digital platform has been launched which its owners believe will simplify the process of crane rental procurement.

Dubai-based MyCrane, a global business platform, asks users to submit details of their lifting requirements to receive personalised quotes from a range of registered crane providers in return.

MyCrane, which took more than two years to develop, removes the need for users to contact multiple equipment providers. The company says its online request form is designed to ensure users receive directly comparable quotations.

The site has been developed by entrepreneur and industry professional Andrei Geikalo, a former commercial director in the heavy lift and project cargo sector.

750 tonnes
The platform is suitable for cranes between 6 and 750 tonnes capacity. The company says that crawler, mobile and tower cranes are currently included and it is working on adding new crane types.

The MyCrane service, which is headquartered in Dubai, is already operational in Russia and is planning to launch in a number of international markets.

Geikalo said, “MyCrane was born out of the desire to change the existing outdated and inconvenient methods of procuring crane services, and to make life easier for those who require lifting services.

“At present, crane rental is a manual, old-fashioned process that takes far too much time. In launching the service, we have combined the latest digital technology with our long industry experience.”
