Crane rental specialist Gheysens Smart Lifting in Belgium has taken delivery of a Tadano AC 5.160-1 all terrain crane. The new 160 tonner is the first of an order for three new ATs from the company.

Commenting on his new crane Miguel Gheysens said, “Simply put, its 68 metre main boom, five-axle steering system, and compact dimensions make the Tadano AC 5.160-1 the best crane of its class when it comes to our needs.” He took delivery from Tadano sales manager Dimitri Jacobs, in Bruges.

Before the end of the year delivery is due of the second crane, a new 450 tonne capacity AC 7.450-1 “with all the bells and whistles” on a seven axle carrier. The remaining unit, a 250 tonne capacity AC 5.250-1 follows in early 2023.

“We’re already looking forward to using our new Tadano cranes and taking care of challenging jobs for our customers even better, faster, and more cost-effectively than ever before,” said Miguel Gheysens.
