Thai crane rental company PTK Crane Center has taken delivery of a Tadano rough terrain GR-1000EX-4 crane.

The crane was chosen for its use in confined spaces

PTK Crane currently rents cranes to a variety of customers and contractors, including many who are working on renovations and expansion for the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, a major national project costing 12 billion Thai baht ($360 million), due to be completed in September 2022.

The crane was chosen for its use in confined spaces.

“This high-quality crane is suitable for working in limited space and rough areas,” said a PTK representative.

Doubling up

Two GR-1000EX-4 cranes were purchased from Tadano, the first was delivered in February 2021 and the second unit in October.

The crane will be used in the expansion of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok

“We understand that the assembling time for the unit is a few months, but it is okay to wait. We believe in the Tadano brand and its great quality; that is the reason why we bought two units.”

PTK Crane also acquired two additional GT-750ER truck cranes to add to the two already in its fleet from Tadano Italthai Co.

Tadano Italthai was formed as a Thai-Japanese joint venture between Tadano and long-time Thai distribution partner Italthai Industrial in 2017.
